Department Dental Assisting Location Lincoln Job Category Faculty Job Type PT Posting Number 01543 Position End Date Position Summary Information General Description of Position Under the general supervision of the Dean and the Program Chair, the Adjunct Instructor will instruct students in various courses in the classroom (whether face-to-face or online), in a laboratory or clinical setting. This is a part-time, temporary position. Essential Functions Marginal Functions Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Minimum Qualifications Current Certified Dental Assistant with two (2) year’s work experience as a Dental Assistant. Demonstrate yearly progress towards a Bachelor’s degree in Allied Health or related field. Bachelor’s Degree must be completed within two (2) years of hire. Desired Qualifications Baccalaureate Degree in Allied Health or related field. Teaching experience in post-secondary education. CPR certified, Healthcare provider. Maintain health requirements for clinical sites.
