Job Summary We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our dental clinic. The ideal candidate is an organized multitasker with strong leadership and communication skills, dedicated to creating an exceptional experience for both patients and staff. Responsibilities Assist the Practice Manager in overseeing daily clinic operations and maintaining an efficient workflow. Supervise front desk activities, including scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, and overall customer service. Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and dental industry regulations. Assist with managing clinic budgets, expenses, and financial documentation. Oversee billing processes, insurance claim submissions, and patient payment collections. Ensure accurate financial record-keeping and adherence to company policies. Support recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members. Assist with staff scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage for clinic operations. Monitor staff performance and provide coaching or feedback to support growth and efficiency. Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment. Promote high-quality patient service and handle concerns promptly and professionally. Address patient inquiries, complaints, and conflict resolution with empathy and composure. Manage office supplies, equipment, and inventory to ensure optimal stock levels. Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in dental software such as Dentrix (or similar systems) is highly preferred. Familiarity with utilization management or dental office operations is a strong plus. Ability to effectively supervise and support staff when needed. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive patient and team relationships. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in managing schedules and patient records. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Must be available to work evenings and weekend shifts as required.
