Now hiring an experienced Dental Hygienist! We are a busy group practice in Northeast Ohio, consisting of six general practitioners, 8 dental hygienists, and a team of specialists that are present on a weekly basis. This team includes a local oral surgeon, a periodontist, endodontists, and an orthodontist, all under the same roof. We have been a staple of the community for over 60 years, with fully digital radiography, dental records, and a fully equipped surgical suite for IV sedation and general anesthesia. In a nutshell, we are kind of awesome! Teamwork is a must for ideal candidates, as you will be working side by side with a variety of different staff members and doctors. Duties will include seating patients, navigating digital patient charts, taking X-rays, and assisting in all aspects of dentistry and specialty care (including IV anesthesia). Duties : Communicate to general dentists the time your patient will be ready for each exam Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality Provide dental hygiene services to patients, including radiographs, child and adult prophylaxis (scaling, flossing, coronal polishing, root planning, and fluoride application according to the generally accepted schedule. Provide patient education and recommendations Discharge Return all operatories to a "clean" state, according to infection control guidelines, discarding all disposable items.
