Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Hygienist, where your expertise will shine in providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health! You will play a vital role in our practice, working closely with patients to ensure their dental hygiene needs are met while creating a welcoming and friendly environment. Your skills in patient assessment and education will empower individuals to maintain their oral health, making a positive impact on their lives. What youâll do Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments, scaling and root planing, treatment planning, radiographs; utilizing your knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy to educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices. Conduct medical imaging as part of comprehensive patient evaluations. Assist patients of all ages. Collaborate with the dental team in effective chairside protocols. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation review while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff. Basic qualifications Preferred experience in a dental office or clinic setting, showcasing your ability to deliver high-quality patient care. Licensed in the state of Iowa. Preferred qualifications Familiarity with Eaglesoft software systems for efficient practice management. Experience with family practice dentistry, providing care to all ages. Strong understanding of general dentistry principles, infection control measures, and medical terminology.
