Dental Hygienist - Dental Implant Institute - Las Vegas, NV

Job Overview: We’re seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality preventive care by performing dental cleanings and educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices. This position includes one-hour recall appointments to ensure every patient receives thorough, individualized care. Responsibilities: Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planning, and polishing Take digital dental x-rays Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for home care Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information in electronic health records systems including Dentrix Follow strict infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care Schedule: 8 hour shift 1 hour cleanings 2 days a week, Monday, Tuesday and/or Wednesday Experience: Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist preferred Open to New Graduate or any years of clinical experience Laser certification preferred Proficiency in dental office software systems such as Dentrix and Dexis Knowledge of infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations Understanding of medical imaging techniques and interpretation Familiarity with medical terminology and coding systems License/Certification: Licensed Dental Hygienist with NV credentials CPR Certification We offer competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
