Our pediatric dental practice is seeking a friendly, reliable, and Certified Dental Assistant to join our team! This position focuses on taking radiographs and polishing and flossing children on the hygiene floor. Radiology and DANB certification are required. We offer flexibility with scheduling and are open to hiring for either 2 or 4 days per week . Our team works Monday through Thursday, with office hours from 7:00 AM–4:30 PM and patient appointments from 7:30 AM–4:00 PM . We value work–life balance and enjoy three-day weekends . We pride ourselves on maintaining a positive, supportive work environment. Our staff works closely together, and we are excited to welcome a new assistant as one of our team members begins dental hygiene school. Compensation We offer a competitive base hourly rate Qualifications Current dental assisting license and radiology certification (required) Prior experience in a dental office preferred; familiarity with dental terminology Knowledge of OSHA standards and infection control protocols Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and data security Experience in pediatrics or working with children is highly valued Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach Comfort and confidence working with children is essential This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth while contributing to a warm, supportive, and child-focused dental environment.
