Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Wichita, KS
Riverside Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our dental team! Qualifications: Minimum of one year of experience as a Dental Assistant in a Dental Practice Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Thorough recordkeeping and dental charting Sterilization of instruments, treatment room, and surrounding work areas Experience with digital radiographs Taking alginate impressions and pouring stone models Preparing and maintaining dental instruments, supplies and equipment Maintain patient confidentiality at all times Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during procedures by providing chairside support and ensuring a sterile environment. Take and develop X-rays while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to uphold aseptic techniques. Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and providing post-operative care instructions. Monitor and record vital signs as needed during patient visits.
