Orthodontic Assistant - Smile City Orthodontics - Sunnyvale, TX

We are seeking a skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our team! Provide chair side assistance to the orthodontist during patient examinations and orthodontic procedures. Ensure that patients are well informed about orthodontic procedures and educate patients on proper oral hygiene and braces aftercare. Clean, sterilize, and prepare treatment rooms for patient appointments/consultations. Sterilize orthodontic instruments and equipment following proper techniques. We are also looking for someone who is also interested in being cross trained to do front desk and administrative duties. Duties: -Scan teeth using a 3D printer/3D scanner -Take X-rays -Adjust patient braces -Provide instructions after a patient starts orthodontic treatment under the care of the orthodontist. -Perform efficient procedures to maintain the schedule and patient flow -Willingness to be cross trained for front desk (scheduling, answering phone calls) -Assist in community events and marketing. -Complies with HIPAA and maintains confidential information -RDA required.
