MONDAY-WEDNESDAY AVAILABLE! Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of dental procedures and practices. Duties Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including preventive, restorative, and cosmetic procedures. Perform various dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals (Endodontics), and crowns. Fabricate dental appliances and prosthetics as needed (Dental fabrication). Provide pediatric dentistry services with a focus on creating a positive experience for children. Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems (Epic). Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care to promote overall health. Collaborate with dental office staff to ensure efficient operations and patient flow. Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Skills Proficient in general dentistry techniques and practices. Knowledge of infection control standards and protocols. Experience with dental software systems such as Dentrix for managing patient records. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise dental procedures. Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and staff. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Understanding of medical records management and compliance requirements.
