We prioritize patient comfort, connection, and long-term oral health. Our team values continuing education and professional growth . We are members of the Seattle Study Club, and Dr. Hinkle serves as a Mentor at the Kois Center. We invest in leading-edge technology and modern, patient-centered hygiene care (digital xrays, intraoral cameras, EMS AirFlow™ for Guided Biofilm Therapy). We foster a supportive, team-oriented environment where the team treats patients like family, and every voice matters. What You’ll Do — Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive hygiene care, including scaling, prophylaxis, periodontal charting, periodontal maintenance, and guided biofilm therapy. Collaborate closely with Dr. Hinkle to support restorative and periodontal treatment as needed — functioning as a true restorative-minded hygienist. Maintain accurate, detailed, and organized patient records and notes; follow through on recommended patient care and recare scheduling. Uphold high standards of infection control, sterilization, and clinical excellence. Who You Are — Your Qualifications & Qualities Required: Active VA license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH); radiography certification; CPR/BLS Strong clinical hygiene skills A restorative-minded approach to hygiene — comfortable partnering with the doctor for comprehensive care. Excellent communication, compassion, and patient-education skills — you see patients as people, not “charts.” Meticulous documentation and follow-through, strong organizational skills, and commitment to detail. Willingness to collaborate as a team player: flexible, reliable, and ready to support the practice’s high standards of care. Preferred / Ideal: Previous experience in a high-quality, fee-for-service or cosmetic/general dentistry practice. Passion for continuing education and keeping up with the latest hygiene techniques and technology. Empathy and warmth: able to build trust and rapport, making patients feel like “part of the family.” What We Offer (Our Commitment to You) Competitive pay (based upon skills/experience) and generous benefits package (depending on workdays) that can include vacation, sick leave, dental benefits, health insurance, holidays, retirement and CE. Flexible scheduling and work/life balance — we support part-time or full-time, depending on your needs. 1-hour recare appointments (ample time to provide thorough, compassionate care) — we believe in quality over speed. Opportunities for professional growth and mentorship. A supportive, stable, close-knit team culture where every team member is respected and valued. Modern, state-of-the-art equipment and a commitment to delivering top-notch care. Schedule & Logistics Patient Care hours: Monday/Wednesday 8am-5pm, Tuesday/Thursday 7am-4pm.
