Our office is looking to hire a dentist for our busy Whittier dental practice. We are open to mentoring new grads. We are offering $750 base pay or 30% of production. Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in comprehensive patient care, with proficiency in various dental procedures and modern dental software. This role offers an opportunity to provide exceptional dental services in a patient-centered environment, utilizing advanced technology and adhering to the highest standards of infection control and confidentiality. Duties Perform comprehensive dental examinations, assessments, and diagnoses using dental terminology and medical imaging techniques. Deliver a wide range of general dentistry services, including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment and medical records. Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures. Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and preventive care. Collaborate with dental office staff to ensure smooth clinic operations and high-quality patient care. Keep up-to-date with advancements in dentistry and maintain proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, and other digital tools. Adhere to all safety standards related to medical terminology, medical records management, and medical documentation. Requirements Valid state dental license with current credentials to practice dentistry. Proven experience in general dentistry within a clinical or dental office setting; experience with dental clinic operations is preferred. Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical terminology. Experience performing procedures like dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery. Ability to perform pediatric dentistry procedures is a plus; experience with pediatrics is desirable. Excellent patient care skills with a focus on patient assessment and education. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and medical records management. Ability to work efficiently within a team environment while maintaining high standards of clinical excellence.
