Job Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant/RDA (Registered Dental Assistant)! In this energetic role, you will be the backbone of our clinical operations, providing chairside assistance and ensuring smooth patient experiences. Youâll support dentist during general dentistry. Your expertise in dental procedures, infection control, and patient care will help us deliver quality dental services in a welcoming environment. Responsibilities Assist dentist during general dentistry procedure Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly. Take dental X-rays Polish patient's teeth after dental prophylaxis Pour study models Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Eaglesoft ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide vital signs monitoring and perform basic medical documentation to support overall patient health assessments. Maintain strict infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Support front desk operations by assisting with dental receptionist duties when needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow. Requirements Valid RDA license - for RDAs Valid coronal polishing and Xray certification for Dental Assistant is a must Proficiency in dental assisting procedures including chairside assisting, X-ray taking, vital signs measurement, and infection control practices. Experience working with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft is a plus Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security at all times. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment practicing four-handed dentistry techniques for optimal patient care Must be a team-player, highly reliable, and must have positive attitude towards responsibilities Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 per week Work Location: In person
