DA/RDA/Orthodontic Assistant We are looking for a friendly and highly motivated DA/RDA/OA to join our fun growing team. Previous dental/orthodontic experience preferred. But don’t worry if you don’t have it – we’re ready to teach you the skills you need and you just need bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic to our team every day. If you have recently graduated from an accredited dental assisting program and would like to purse a career in orthodontics, we invite you to apply. Duties: - Welcome patients to the practice. - Take patient's records (photos, ITero scans, radiographs). *Our team will provide you with the right training. - Explain treatment plan to patients, educate patients on treatment procedures. - Sterilize instruments according to regulation - Prepare patient for orthodontic procedures - Keep treatment and clinical area clean - Set up instruments and materials - Open to learn to be cross trained for frontdesk tasks such as answering phone calls and scheduling appointments on a computer - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality Skills: - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong organizational skills with extreme attention to detail - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Knowledge of phone systems and customer service principles - Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot - Competence to master new skills quickly We are looking for full-time candidates. This position comes with paid holidays, PTO and sick leave. No weekends. Maximum 32 hours per week. Pay is based on experience.
