Assist dentists during various procedures including restorations, prosthodontics, and providing efficient four-handed dentistry support. Operate dental X-ray equipment to capture high-quality images while adhering strictly to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques. Take vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates to monitor patient health before treatments. Practice Dental Software , cloud based, such as Oryx Accurately document patient histories, treatment plans, and medical coding. Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care, and explain procedures using clear dental terminology. Maintain infection control standards by following OSHA guidelines and proper sterilization protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment. Utilize 3D scanners, CT scanners or other advanced imaging tools. Assist with dental documentation related to dental procedures, charting and treatment planning. Uphold confidentiality of patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations while managing medical records and documentation accurately. Experience Previous experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred, especially within general dentistry and implant surgery. Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside support, infection control practices, sterilization and spore testing. Familiarity with cloud based dental software is a plus. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy relevant to oral health, and medical terminology related to dental care is required for effective communication and documentation. Hands-on experience operating dental X-ray equipment along with a valid X-Ray license is mandatory for this role. Ability to perform vital signs assessment accurately and support medical imaging procedures confidently. Strong understanding of infection control protocols and sterilization processes ensures a safe environment for patients and staff alike.
