Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a commitment to providing high-quality dental services. This role involves diagnosing and treating various dental conditions, performing procedures, and educating patients on oral health. The Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to ensure a positive experience for all patients while adhering to the highest standards of care. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine dental health status. Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, and prosthodontics. Execute dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other necessary treatments with precision and care. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Ensure infection control protocols are followed diligently to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices to continuously improve service delivery. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license to practice dentistry. Proficiency in using dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred. Strong understanding of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and aseptic techniques. Experience in pediatric dentistry is highly desirable along with a background in general dentistry practices. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and dental fabrication processes is advantageous. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages. Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred but not mandatory.
