Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry and be proficient in various dental procedures. The Dentist will work closely with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to deliver comprehensive dental services. Duties Perform a variety of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans. Utilize dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix for patient management and medical documentation. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Implement aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety. Provide education to patients regarding oral health, preventive care, and treatment options. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and treatment outcomes. Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities. Experience Proven experience in general dentistry with a focus on pediatric dentistry preferred. Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy knowledge is essential. Experience in four-handed dentistry and the ability to perform oral surgery is a plus. Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and dental fabrication processes is beneficial. Previous experience working in a dental office or clinic setting is required.
