Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The Dentist will work closely with a team of dental professionals to provide exceptional services in a supportive and collaborative environment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations, including medical history reviews and oral examinations. Perform a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Execute dental extractions and root canal therapy with precision while adhering to aseptic techniques. Utilize medical imaging technologies for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies. Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in four-handed dentistry to enhance patient comfort and efficiency during procedures. Uphold infection control standards within the dental clinic to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices to provide the best possible care. Requirements Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license to practice dentistry. Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology. Experience in pediatric dentistry is highly desirable. Familiarity with medical documentation processes related to patient care is essential. Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independent decision-making skills.
