Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and a strong foundation in various dental procedures. This role requires proficiency in both general and specialized dentistry, with a focus on creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for patients of all ages. Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide a wide range of dental services, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics, and dental extractions. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care. Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies. Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices, including proficiency in software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix. Experience A Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution is required. Previous experience in a dental clinic or office setting is preferred. Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical imaging is essential. Experience with root canal therapy, dental fabrication, and pediatric dentistry is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients are crucial for success in this role.
