Full-Time Dental Assistant – Private Practice Dental Office (This position is for Full-Time, 35-40 hours/week - Monday-Thursday 7:30-5:30 with occasional Fridays 8-1) We are an established private practice located in New Tampa . About the Role This role is ideal for a dental assistant confident in leading others with professionalism and accountability. Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to): Clinical Duties: Provide chairside assistance with restorative and cosmetic procedures In-office crown fabrication: including scanning, milling, and post-processing Fabricate in-house lab cases (trays, guards, retainers, etc.) Ensure strict adherence to sterilization protocols and equipment maintenance Maintain operatory organization Review and adjust appointment notes, medical alerts, and case prep details Monitor and complete post-op calls Backup support to the front desk team as needed, including assisting with patient check-in/check-out, answering phones, and collecting payments Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Exceptional Organizational Skills and Follow-Through Ability to maintain a positive attitude, including when problem-solving Ability to train others, lead meetings, and multitask in a busy clinical setting Detail-oriented with a proactive and solutions-driven mindset Pay : $22-28/hr, which includes bonus and commission Benefits : 401k Matching, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays Schedule : 8.5 Hour Shift, No Nights, No Weekends Therapy Dogs : Max and Mandi are here daily for both patients' and team members' comfort and enjoyment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Paid time off Work Location: In person
