Job Summary As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in a dynamic clinical environment. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help create a welcoming atmosphere for patients while ensuring that all procedures are performed efficiently and safely. You will assist with various dental procedures, manage patient records, and maintain a clean and organized workspace, all while adhering to the highest standards of infection control and patient confidentiality. What youâll do Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are readily available. Take dental X-rays and perform imaging within compliance standards. Maintain accurate dental documentation and manage patient records using systems such as Open Dental. Educate patients on post-operative care, oral hygiene practices, and the importance of regular dental visits. Uphold HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality at all times. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth clinic operations and provide outstanding patient service. Experience Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred. Familiarity with dental terminology. Experience lmedical records management, and infection control practices is highly desirable. Proficiency in using 3D scanners and other advanced dental technology is a plus. Knowledge of general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
