Job Title: Dental Billing & Front Office Manager Location: Denver, CO Position Type: Full-Time, In-Office Overview Our Denver office is seeking a strong, hands-on Dental Billing & Front Office Manager to oversee all billing operations while also supporting and leading the front desk team. This role requires a high level of ownership, accountability, and leadership within the practice. The ideal candidate is someone who can manage the three core components of billingâclaims submission, payment posting, and accounts receivable (AR)âwhile also working the front desk as needed, training staff, and ensuring smooth daily operations. You will be responsible for clearing any existing billing backlog, maintaining efficient workflows, and developing the team through consistent coaching and standards. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in running an organized, high-performing office. Responsibilities Oversee all daily billing operations: claims submission, payment posting, AR follow-up Work front desk as needed: patient check-in/out, scheduling, verifying insurance, collecting payments Monitor, manage, and clear billing backlog while preventing future delays Train, supervise, and support front desk/billing staff on billing protocols and office processes Implement and uphold best practices to increase collection efficiency and accuracy Regularly audit claims, payments, and AR for accuracy and compliance Handle escalated insurance issues, denials, appeals, and complex AR cases Maintain a strong leadership presence in the officeâdrive accountability, communication, and workflow Report billing and front office performance metrics to leadership Ensure a positive patient experience and a smooth front-office environment Qualifications 3+ years of dental billing experience, including team leadership or management Strong knowledge of CDT coding, claim submission, denials/appeals, and AR management Experience working at the front desk in a dental office preferred Proficiency with dental practice software (Dentrix, Open Dental, or similar) Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and organizational skills Ability to take ownership of office performance and hold team members accountable Bilingual (Spanish) preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Language: Spanish (Preferred) Work Location: In person
