About the Role As our Front Desk Dental Administrator, youâll be responsible for creating a positive first impression for every patient who calls or visits the office. Youâll manage scheduling, insurance verification, billing coordination, and daily office communication. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, confident with multitasking, and enjoys working closely with both patients and the dental team. Key Responsibilities Greet patients with professionalism and warmth, in person and over the phone. Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and recall systems. Verify dental insurance benefits and process pre-authorizations. Handle billing, payments, and account reconciliation. Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental software.\ Communicate effectively with patients, dentists, and clinical staff to ensure seamless care. Assist with reports, deposits, and administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in a dental office administrative or front desk role. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance plans. Experience with Open Dental or similar practice management software preferred. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities. Professional, polished, and comfortable interacting with patients of all ages. Preferred Skills Experience with dental billing, insurance submission, and AR follow-up. Familiarity with PPO and Medicaid plans. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is an asset.
