Key Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, adhering to OSHA standards. Ensure proper cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection of dental instruments and equipment following established protocols. Maintain accurate patient records using OpenDental software, including medical history and treatment plans. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure the clinic is well-stocked. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure a seamless workflow within the clinic. Conduct and assist with advanced scans, including Itero, Medit, and TRIOS. Deliver and adjust occlusal guards, temporary crowns, and bridges. Assist with orthodontic procedures, including Invisalign tray delivery and attachment placement. Provide pre-op and post-op instructions with clarity and care. Adjust and polish resin restorations for optimal patient outcomes. Who Weâre Looking For: Weâre searching for a prepared and knowledgeable professional who thrives on challenges and innovation. Experience in dental assisting with a focus on general dentistry, endodontics, and orthodontics. Proficiency in OpenDental software preferred. Ability to take vital signs accurately.
