Duties Assist dentists during various procedures including restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, and surgical procedures. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring aseptic techniques are followed Take dental X-rays while adhering to HIPAA regulations and safety standards Help Reception area when needed, including scheduling appointments and updating medical records Scan cases using 3D intraoral scanner (3Shape Trios scanner) Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care instructions Qualifications Proven experience in dental assisting or working within a dental clinic environment Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, infection control procedures, and aseptic techniques Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry Experience with X-ray procedures, digital imaging, 3D scanners, and medical imaging equipment Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry settings Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing medical records and documentation Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members Certification in radiography or x-ray certification is a plus Pay: From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 38.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) matching Employee discount Paid time off Work Location: In person
