The great news is that you can become part of our team: we are hiring for the position of orthodontic assistant - but actual assisting will be the lesser part of your job description as you will be working mostly independently under Dr. Sebastian's supervision. Who we are looking for: We are a cutting edge orthodontic practice that uses the most modern approaches to treatment and we are looking for a dynamic, experienced person to join our team and help us provide the best care for our patients while helping us grow. The Job: Your essential job functions include, but are not limited to: -taking high quality orthodontic records (including extra- and intraoral pictures, iTero scan, panoramic radiograph, cephalometric radiograph, CBCT, alginate impressions (rarely)) -placing and removing fixed orthodontic appliances such as expanders and Herbst appliances -assisting with the bonding of braces -assisting with TAD placements, MARPE insertions and laser procedures -removing braces -wire changes -various cleaning, maintenance and restocking duties to keep the clinic running smoothly We work hard every day, but our patients literally think our ‘vibe is chill’.
