Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal treatments for patients. Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical histories. Utilize Dentrix software for patient documentation and record management. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Ensure proper infection control protocols are followed in accordance with aseptic techniques. Review medical records for accuracy and completeness, including documentation of treatments performed. Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and advancements in dental technology.
