Duties Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures including restorative, prosthodontic, endodontic, with precision and care. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly using aseptic techniques. Take and develop high-quality dental X-rays and 3D scans while adhering to strict infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy. Manage patient records efficiently using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic; document treatment details accurately in medical documentation. Monitor vital signs and medical history to ensure patient safety before procedures; communicate effectively with patients to explain treatments and answer questions. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment by following infection control standards and ensuring all dental supplies are stocked and ready for use. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, greeting patients as a dental receptionist, verifying insurance information, and managing medical records. Collaborate with the team using four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency and comfort during procedures. Stay updated on the latest dental terminology, medical coding practices, and industry best practices to enhance service quality. Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred; familiarity with general dentistry procedures is essential. Demonstrated proficiency with Dentrix, is required for seamless documentation management. Knowledge of infection control protocols, aseptic technique, anatomy knowledge related to oral structures, and dental terminology is crucial for success in this role. Experience assisting with pediatric dentistry procedures is a plus; familiarity with medical imaging techniques including X-ray and 3D scanning enhances your versatility. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations ensures confidentiality of patient information at all times. Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Work Location: In person
