Job Summary Interested in working for a state-of-the-art General Dentistry practice in White Lake Charter Township, Michigan? If you have at least One year of experience in dentistry, you are welcome to apply!!! We are seeking an experienced dental assistant who is confident in a high volume, fast pace office. You will be an extension of the doctorâs right hand by performing standard dental assisting duties. You must have strong organizational and time management skills. We are seeking someone who is capable of implementing protocols to help keep the office running smoothly and efficient. The ideal candidate must be conscientious of others and the healthcare environment, compassionate, comfortable with learning new technology and both eager and motivated to learn continuously! SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE : Implements protocols, provides chairside assistance to the dentist, takes radiographs, scans patientsâ dentition, order supplies, maintain the equipment, handpieces and instruments, ensures infection control protocols are met and performs various other duties that are essential to patient care. ESSENTIAL ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES : Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Expose, and evaluate digital dental radiographs Perform infection control and occupational safety procedures Provide patient education Maintains strict patient confidentiality both inside and outside of the office. Take preliminary medical histories and vital signs to be reviewed by the dentist. Capture clear 3D scans with digital intraoral scanner for study casts, diagnostic casts, orthodontic appliances, and occlusal guards. Fabricate and cement temporary crowns. Other dental supportive services authorized by the licensed dentist while under the direct personal supervision of the licensed dentist, provided that such other dental supportive services are not excluded Participates in office marketing campaigns, social media marketing, ground marketing and other activities that positively promote the practice.
