Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties Our office uses GBT - airflow technology , and will teach you ! Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, and current dental conditions. Scaling root planning/arestin AI BOLA for perio charting Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies tailored to pediatric and general dentistry needs. Review and update medical records accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and documentation standards. Monitor infection control procedures, including aseptic techniques, to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans based on patient assessments and medical histories. Maintain proficiency in dental terminology, EMR (Electronic Medical Records) in Dentrix, and medical coding practices. Support the dental team in maintaining a clean, organized clinical environment that adheres to all safety standards. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice. Proven experience in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry settings; previous dental office or clinic experience is preferred. Proficiency in using EMR systems in Dentrix for documentation review and record keeping. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques. Ability to perform patient care tasks including vital signs measurement, medical imaging, and patient assessment effectively. Familiarity with dental assisting procedures, chairside assisting skills, and dental terminology essential for seamless team collaboration. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality and privacy of patient information. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients clearly about treatment procedures and oral health maintenance. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
