Duties Perform sterilization procedures on dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols. Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles and monitor equipment functionality. Prepare and package instruments for use in various dental procedures. Assist in the setup of treatment rooms, ensuring all necessary tools are available for practitioners. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure a smooth workflow during patient treatments. Adhere to safety standards and infection control policies to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Conduct routine maintenance checks on sterilization equipment and report any issues promptly. Restocking of rooms. Assist doctors and hygienists as needed. General cleaning and maintaining office cleanliness throughout the day Any other assigned duties Qualifications Previous experience in a dental surgery is required. Previous training in infection control preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Willingness to learn new technologies and methods. Strict adherence to OSHA and HIPAA protocol Dental assistant certificate is required.
