Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise, patient interaction, and administrative skills to ensure smooth operations within the dental clinic. Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a comfortable environment for patients. Perform chairside assisting duties, including preparing instruments and materials for procedures. Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Manage appointment scheduling and patient communications as a dental receptionist when needed. Implement infection control protocols and maintain aseptic techniques throughout the clinic. Monitor vital signs and assist with medical imaging as required. Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans. Utilize Eaglesoft,Itero, CBCT for efficient patient management Skills Proficient in dental terminology and procedures related to general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance workflow efficiency during procedures. Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental practices and familiarity with medical terminology. Competence in using 3D scanners and other advanced dental technology. Strong understanding of medical coding, documentation, and record management practices. Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is highly desirable, along with skills in infection control measures. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining excellent communication with patients.
