Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. You will work closely with dentists and other staff members in a friendly and supportive environment, focusing on patient comfort and satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments, including scaling and polishing teeth. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate medical records, including patient histories and treatment plans. Assist in the management of the dental clinic's systems, ensuring efficient workflow. Collaborate with dentists in providing comprehensive care, including pediatric dentistry when necessary. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance patient comfort and efficiency during procedures. Stay updated with advancements in dental hygiene practices and procedures. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are welcome to apply. Familiarity with medical coding, dental assisting, anatomy knowledge, medical terminology, and dental terminology is advantageous. Experience working in a dental clinic setting is a plus, particularly in pediatric dentistry. Proficiency in managing medical records and understanding of various dental systems will be beneficial.
