Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans. Perform a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment options and care instructions. Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices to provide the best care possible. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to create a positive patient experience. Skills Proficiency in dental software systems such as open dental, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix is preferred. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices. Experience in pediatric dentistry and managing the unique needs of younger patients. Excellent patient care skills with a focus on building rapport and trust with patients. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in both clinical tasks and documentation processes. Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
