Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). In this vital role, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient comfort, and ensure the highest standards of infection control and safety. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, supportive clinic dedicated to excellence in dental health. Office hours are Monday-Thursday 8-4. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental materials, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly using aseptic techniques. Assist dentist chairside during a variety of procedures, providing necessary tools and support efficiently. Take digital X-rays, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed to protect patient health. Manage clinical records and documentation accurately while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Perform vital signs assessments and monitor patient comfort throughout procedures to ensure a positive experience. Educate patients on oral health care instructions post-treatment and answer questions regarding dental terminology or procedures clearly and confidently. Skills Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques essential for safe clinical practice. Prefer experience with dental assisting procedures including chairside assisting, taking X-rays (including 3D scanner use), and performing vital signs assessments, but willing to train the right person. Ability to operate dental equipment such as medical imaging devices and 3D scanners efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information at all times. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the dental team and educate patients about their oral health needs.
