Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Anchorage, AK
HYGIENISTS LOOKING FOR A FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE WITHIN A SMALL FAMILY PRACTICE! Interested in working only one day a week, or up to 4 days a week.... whatever that may look like for you, we would love to hear from you and have an opportunity to discuss our needs and yours. With a community rich with dental providers, we know that job seeking can sometimes be overwhelming and all-consuming. Our doctor and team members are ready to help alleviate those factors for you! Finding time to coordinate schedules can be difficult, but we are open to meeting outside of regular business hours if that feels more doable for you! Compensation: $70 - $80 hourly Responsibilities: Explain good oral hygiene techniques to patients of all ages, such as thorough brushing and flossing twice daily Remove plaque and apply fluoride or other sealants to prevent cavities and tooth decay Work with dentists to decide the best form of treatment for a variety of dental disease Look for signs of gum disease, infections, or cavities to ensure issues are caught early and can be treated Record any changes to the patientâs health history and document the ongoings of each appointment Qualifications: Possesses a state license to practice dental hygiene Current CPR certification In-depth knowledge of dental safety regulations and HIPAA regulations 1-2 years of work experience as a dental hygienist Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills About Company Dr. Grubba is a kind and generous dentist looking to build a strong little team that is committed to serving our patients with honesty, empathy, and integrity.
