This position is for three days a week . In this role, you will provide direct support during oral surgery and periodontal procedures, ensuring that patients receive exceptional care in a comfortable and efficient environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in assisting with complex dental surgeries, sterilizing instruments, and providing post-operative instructions to patients. Salary Range $20 - $24 hourly based on experience Skills Dental assistant experience is required Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Key Responsibilities: Assist the oral surgeon/periodontist during surgical procedures, including extractions, implants, and periodontal treatments. Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment, ensuring infection control protocols are followed. Assist with local anesthesia administration and monitor patient comfort and safety during procedures. Record patient histories, treatment plans, and surgical notes. Provide post-operative care instructions and answer patient questions regarding recovery. Educate patients on oral health and recovery practices. Maintain patient records and assist with scheduling follow-up appointments. Ensure a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to sterilization standards.
