Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and a positive attitude! Experience in pediatric dentistry is highly desirable. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and maintain the treatment room, including sterilization of instruments and equipment. Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols. Record patient vital signs and maintain accurate patient records. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Utilize aseptic techniques to prevent infection during procedures. Assist with endodontic treatments as needed, ensuring patient comfort throughout the process. Operate 3D scanners for imaging as required by specific procedures. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient clinic operations. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is a plus. Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and clinic operations. Proficiency in taking X-rays and understanding of vital sign monitoring. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and team members.
