Responsibilities: You will be responsible for the following: Greet and engage patients with respect and a smile. Ensure patients are well informed and comfortable - before, during, and after their appointment - about their treatment and oral health. Take and process dental radiographs,digital scans and intraoral photos. Prepares and sterilizes treatment room and equipment. Provide chair-side assistance to Providers during treatment procedures. Documents orthodontic care services by charting in patientsâ records. Assist the orthodontist in assessing a patient's teeth and implementing a plan to straighten them. Perform routine orthodontic duties, including cleaning and adjusting orthodontic applainces. Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment. Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g, OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, Employee Handbook). Qualifications: You will be required to possess the following: Required: X ray Certification, EFODA (or willing to get it w/in 6mo of hire) Prior dental or orthodontic assisting experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate!) Positive attitude and strong communication skills Reliable Team-oriented Eager to learn Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
