Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Portland, OR

Compensation: $60â$80 per hour , commensurate with experience and training We are an innovative, patient-centered dental practice specializing in airway health, sleep-disordered breathing, TMJ/craniofacial pain, and comprehensive preventive care . Our team takes an integrative approach to oral and systemic health, collaborating across disciplines to improve long-term patient outcomes. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Dental Hygienist who is passionate about airway-focused dentistry and values education, prevention, and whole-body health. What Youâll Do Perform comprehensive dental hygiene care, including periodontal assessments and therapy Perform Laser Bacterial Reduction and Laser Debridement in conjunction with periodontal treatment to improve clinical outcome (training provided if needed) Screen for airway, sleep, and breathing concerns (e.g., mouth breathing, tongue posture, snoring, sleep apnea risk) Educate patients on oral-systemic health connections, airway health, and preventive strategies Assist with diagnostics such as intraoral scans, CBCTs, and clinical photography (training provided if needed) Collaborate with doctors and clinical team on airway-centered treatment planning Perform laser treatment for soft palate for treatment of snoring and sleep apnea Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold infection control standards Create a calm, supportive, and educational experience for patients of all ages What Weâre Looking For Active Dental Hygienist license in Oregon Strong communication and patient education skills Interest in airway dentistry, TMJ, and integrative care (prior experience a plus, but not required) Team-oriented mindset with a growth and learning attitude Experience with myofunctional therapy or interest in myo training is a plus Why Join Us?
