Responsibilities Diagnose and treat a variety of dental conditions, including general dentistry procedures such as fillings, crowns, and cleanings Perform complex dental procedures including root canal therapy, dental extractions, prosthodontics, and oral surgery Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and communicate options clearly to patients Maintain accurate medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and practice protocols Utilize dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and treatment planning Ensure infection control standards are strictly followed using aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures Collaborate with dental assistants in four-handed dentistry to optimize patient comfort and procedural efficiency Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques to enhance patient outcomes Requirements Valid DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution; active licensure required Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental terminology and medical documentation Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix Experience performing pediatric dentistry, endodontics (root canals), prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical imaging techniques, infection control protocols, and HIPAA compliance Ability to perform dental extractions safely and efficiently while maintaining aseptic technique Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and communicate effectively Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry and general health conditions affecting oral health Prior experience working in a fast-paced dental office or clinic environment preferred Join us to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives through expert care delivered with enthusiasm!
