We truly want to give our patients the best experience! **Would prefer 3 years or more of experience but new grads are welcome to apply Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical history reviews, and documenting findings accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to foster long-term oral health. Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Take and develop medical imaging, including X-rays, ensuring proper technique and safety protocols are followed. Review documentation for accuracy, update medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, and ensure proper medical coding for billing purposes. Maintain infection control standards through aseptic techniques, sterilization procedures, and adherence to OSHA guidelines. Stay on time Requirements Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice. Proven experience in general dentistry with a strong background in pediatric dentistry preferred. Proficiency with dental office software such as Dentrix- we have Dentrix Ascend Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical terminology relevant to dental care. Ability to perform patient care tasks such as charting, documentation review, and patient assessment confidently.
