Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health is maintained and improved. This position requires a thorough understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent patient assessment skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other dental professionals in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidate must have 2-years experience and available to work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30-5:00 PM Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and conducting oral examinations. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care. Administer preventive treatments such as fluoride applications and sealants. Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture high-quality diagnostic images as needed. Assist in the management of patient records using Eaglesoft or similar dental office software. Collaborate with dentists in the treatment planning process and provide support during procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols. Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education opportunities. Requirements Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Proficiency in dental terminology and knowledge of anatomy related to dentistry. Experience with dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with general dentistry practices, including pediatrics. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
