Family Values Dental -- Ryan Wratchford DDS General Dental Office in LaVale MD seeking a Dental Assistant. Maryland Radiology certification and at least 1 year experience preferred. Beginning in January 2026. $20-27 per hour depending on dental experience and MD radiograph certification Hours: Monday 9-4:30 Tuesday 9-4:30 Wednesday 9-4 (Occasional Thursday hours) Job Duties: Directly assist the Dentist during patient treatment with suction and handling of instruments Setup instrumentation, disinfect, and clean up treatment rooms Take radiographs as prescribed by the Dentist Keep inventory of and order supplies Routine and preventive maintenance of equipment such as patient dental chairs, delivery units, waterlines, autoclave, ultrasonic cleaner, and other machinery and equipment as needed Greet, check in and seat patients Check out patients, accept payment, and schedule follow-up appointments using Open Dental software Keep operatory, front desk area, waiting room, restroom, hallways and entryway neat, clean, and in order Our office is a small, family oriented general dental practice with great relationships with our patients.
