Job Overview We are a private one doctor dental practice seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team four days a week. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care and comfort, ensuring a positive experience for every patient. This role includes performing dental hygiene procedures, educating patients on oral health, and collaborating with the dental team to provide comprehensive care. Our hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Arrival time is 7:30 AM, with a morning huddle at 7:45 AM. Lunch is from 1:00 PM–2:00 PM Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments and document medical histories. Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth, applying fluoride treatments, and taking dental radiographs. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize Eaglesoft for efficient patient management. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment. Collaborate with dentist and general dentistry procedures. Review documentation for accuracy and completeness as part of patient care. Qualifications Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred, with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy. Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft and Dexis. Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
