Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and assist in maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment. This role requires a thorough understanding of dental procedures, patient assessment, and infection control protocols. The Dental Hygienist will collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal oral health outcomes for patients across all age groups, including pediatrics. Experience with EMR systems and dental office software such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix is preferred. Responsibilities Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history review Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques Take and develop medical imaging as needed for diagnosis and treatment planning Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Ensure infection control standards are strictly followed using aseptic techniques Review medical records to ensure comprehensive patient information is available for treatment planning Manage patient flow efficiently, providing excellent patient care and comfort throughout visits Support general dentistry procedures and pediatric dentistry when required Qualifications Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations BLS Join our dedicated team committed to providing outstanding dental services in a professional, caring environment.
