We are excited to announce that Seva Dental Team is expanding and seeking a cross-trained professional to join our team. We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant who is interested in cross-training to help support our business team. As a Dental Assistant / Patient Relations Coordinator, you will play a vital role in assisting the dentist while helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the practice. You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional patient experience from the moment patients walk through the door until they leave with their next appointment scheduled. Greeting patients with a welcoming smile and kindness, professional communication is essential. You are the focal point of the relationship between the patient and the practice, helping to create trust, comfort, and a positive overall experience. This position requires prior dental experience. General Responsibilities (not limited to): Answering all patient calls during the day Booking appointments Checking patients in and out Completing 100% accurate documentation of patientâs financial and insurance responsibility Collecting payment from patients for procedures performed Managing the practice patient schedule Calling patients who are due for service or need to book an appointment Utilizing tools to fill in cancellations and past-due appointments Collecting past-due balances from patients Helping other Team Members with morning huddles Prepare patients for oral examinations & assist clinicians in providing treatment and documentation. Communicate effectively with team members and patients. Ensure patients have a great experience by providing excellent, educational, chair-side manner. Ability to take dental digital radiography/X-rays. Assisting Hygienists and Doctors with charting. Ability to take detailed notes and record important information. Ability to keep up and adapt to a fast-paced work environment. Comfortable working in a sterile environment and maintaining a high standard of sanitization. Ability to learn Dental Software or have previous knowledge. Dental Lab Duties : Proper sanitation of operatories in accordance with CDC Instrument Sterilization Stocking Supplies Checking in Laboratory Cases Communication with Dental Labs Ordering Supplies Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience Proficiency in dental terminology, procedures, and equipment Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Benefits: Dental benefit incl. immediate family Health Insurance and 401k On-the-job training Paid time off No weekends Education: High school or equivalent Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year If you are a motivated individual with a passion for dentistry and providing exceptional patient care, we would love to hear from you.
