Current hours are 8:30-3:30. Days are Tuesday to Friday. Work location is 17200 E Warren Ave Ste. A, Detroit, MI 48224 Looking for a Dental assistant that has a positive attitude and is reliable. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly in accordance with aseptic technique and infection control protocols. Assist dentists chairside during procedures such as restorations, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry, providing necessary tools and materials promptly. Take and develop dental X-rays using digital imaging systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or 3D scanners to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Manage patient records by updating medical documentation, medical records, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy. Perform vital signs assessments and monitor patient comfort throughout treatments, especially for pediatric patients or those requiring special care. Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment by adhering to infection control standards and proper disposal of contaminated materials.
