Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our first class dental practice. Minimum three years experience. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, proficiency in assisting with various dental procedures, and familiarity with dental systems and software. Duties Assist ( General Dentists ) during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after procedures. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and intra oral pictures and scans as needed. Maintain accurate medical documentation for patient records. Utilize Eaglesoft software for scheduling appointments, managing patient information, and billing processes. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Operate 3D scanners for precise imaging when required. Support the front office / receptionist as needed, including relaying Doctor information and managing patient inquiries. Stay updated on advancements in general dentistry to enhance patient care. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Assistant ( General Dentist) is mandatory. Familiarity with dental imaging techniques and equipment is advantageous. Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is essential. Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental management software is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment are required.
