The Role: As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our team, working directly with patients and supporting our orthodontist to provide the highest level of care. Your day-to-day tasks will include: Assisting the orthodontist during various dental procedures. Preparing patients for treatment and explaining procedures to alleviate any concerns. Taking dental x-rays and digital impressions for diagnostic purposes. Sterilizing and preparing instruments and treatment rooms adhering to OSHA and infection control policies. Providing patients with post-treatment care instructions and scheduling follow-up appointments. What We're Looking For: Certification in an accredited dental assisting program preferred but not required Previous experience in an orthodontic or dental practice is preferred but not required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A positive, empathetic attitude and the ability to work as part of a team. Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality patient care.
