Floater Dental Assistant, Part time- Oral Surgery - VCU Dental Care - Richmond, VA

Chief Purpose of the Position The entry-level Dental Assistant, Floater supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials; maintaining operations of the sterilization area; and taking necessary X-rays as delegated by the treating faculty and/or surgical assistants. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Basic computer knowledge Excellent written and verbal communication skills Consistent delivery of a high level of customer service Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills with logical thinking in a fast-paced environment Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent (required) 2+ years of customer service experience (required) CPR certification (preferred) X-ray certification (preferred) Brief Summary of Benefits : Benefits for this position include, Paid Holidays.
